Le petit Trianon in Versailles back to its Marie-Antoinette's glory
The Petit Trianon is Versailles was brought back to its Marie-Antoinette 's glory. It will open to the public in October, showing it almost as Marie-Antoinette left it in October 5th 1789.

In the Palace of Versailles, the Petit Trianon is a little paradise for Queens. Louis XV ordered it to Ange-Jacques Gabriel for his beloved mistress Madame de Pompadour between 1762-1768. She never had the opportunity to enjoy it as she died 4 years before its completion. Her successor, the beautiful Madame du Barry, inherited it. However, at the time of Louis XV death, she had to give it back to her ennemy, the 19-year-old Queen Marie Antoinette, as the new King offered it to his wife. The young queen made it her world, transforming the castle into her own and private resting place, and extending the garden into a small village.

Adieu Yves Saint Laurent !
Yves Saint Laurent, the very famous French fashion designer, died this Sunday in Paris, France. He changed the way women can dress and was one of the best "créateurs de mode" that France ever had. I love and share one of his quotes: « Je ne suis pas un couturier, je suis un artisan, un fabricant de bonheur. »
Good-bye, YSL, and thank you for your art and inspiration.
